玉山村位于水门畲族乡西北面，离镇区2.6公里，辖下徐、渔家洞、向阳、叶山四个自然村。全村315户1131人，分6个村民小组[1]。村名的来历据说是山上曾有许多晶莹的石头，形似美玉[2]。

村域总面积7892亩，林地1120亩，农旱地251亩，水田969亩为最大宗[1]。

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月确认玉山村为「2021年福建省卫生村」[2]。省绿化委员会在2022年12月把玉山村列为「2022年福建省森林村庄」[2]。2015年10月，玉山村进入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」名单[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年时此地先设为生产大队；1984年政社分开后，大队更名为玉山村，并组建村民委员会[2]。
