盐田畲族乡是福建省宁德市霞浦县下辖的畲族乡，位于县境中部偏西，东南与沙江镇相连，西与福安市接壤，北与崇儒畲族乡毗邻。全乡辖1个社区、22个行政村。[1][3][4]

据百度百科，乡域面积为158.29平方千米，2019年末户籍人口28763人；乡概况则作154平方千米，两说并存。[2][4]

乡内杯溪是霞浦县最大的河流，发源于柏洋乡，自北向南流经崇儒乡后，于盐田一带入海。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，此地隶属灵霍乡的温麻里与柘阳里。元代至清光绪年间，地域分属三十六七都、三十八九都、二十五六都与四十四五都。[5]

宣统元年（1909年）至民国中期，此地归小南区与下西区管辖。民国25年（1936年）划入第一区，民国29年（1940年）设盐田镇，隶属第三区。[5]

1949年10月盐田镇被撤销，此后仍归第三区管辖；1956年2月，此地更名为盐田区；1958年区建制取消，成立盐田人民公社；1961年5月再度设为盐田区；1966年又改回盐田人民公社。1984年撤销人民公社，设立盐田畲族乡。[5]

1934年前后，叶飞、曾志等人曾在盐田西胜一带领导农民开展土地革命。[4]

乡域南北长约18.3千米，东西长约11.3千米，海岸线长28千米。[4]

杯溪干流长45千米，流域面积285平方千米。[4]

乡境属亚热带海洋性季风气候，年平均降水量约1400毫米，无霜期约300天。[4]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，截至2019年末，乡内有工业企业53个，其中规模以上企业10个。[2]

盐田村域内建有工业园区，分东西两片布局。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

上村的汤家大厝与郑家大厝历史悠久，两者与周边古民居合称杯溪古厝群，是摄影爱好者常到的地方。[7]

北洋村的飞路塔为明代所建的四角形单层石塔，通高约3米。[8]

盐田村的黄寿祺故居是文物保护单位，见该村条目。[6]

著名人物[edit]

易学专家黄寿祺为盐田人，故居位于盐田村；其堂弟黄寿培获2005年度「全国业余功勋诗人」称号。[9][6]
