村近年发展乡村旅游与民宿，依托海岸风光与摄影资源，吸引返乡创业者与外来投资，建成民宿多家，床位数百张。村中另结合紫菜产业与内海捕捞。[1][2]
博雅地名网称，村中民宿于2019年获得「中国好民宿」称号，2020年村获评「福建省金牌旅游村」，2018年列为省级乡村振兴试点村。[2]
