西岐村在东冲半岛上，离下浒镇区约2公里，属下浒镇管辖。[1]
地名[edit]
村前有一块形似狮子的岐石，村名取其谐音。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年8月公社化时期，此地设为西岐生产大队。1984年8月恢复乡政府，大队随即改称西岐村并组成村民委员会，原大队就此撤销。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月将本村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
