金山村原为洪口乡下辖的行政村，村名来自当地「金山银斧头」的说法。洪口水电站建设时，村民在2006年至2007年间迁出，安置于七都镇秋山尾、霍童镇霍童村的移民点及城区。[1]

历史[edit]

过去村中有7个村民小组，共96户374人。1971年，村中的烈士郑志生在部队战备训练中牺牲。[1]
