东岭村位于霍童镇西北部，在镇区西北约7公里、岩雷山山下，是一个畲族村。[1]

村名因辖下主村东岗和岭尾而定。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东岭村原与小石村同属一个行政村，1994年分出另立。[1]

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月授予东岭村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；同年12月，它又获「2021年度福建省森林村庄」的命名。[1]

文化[edit]

村中每年都举办三月三畲族对歌节等畲族风俗活动。[1]
