和坑村在乡境西南部，村中有五个自然村，是革命老区村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：古时周围村落放牧牛羊，多从此地经过，故原名“牛路坑”；后雅化为“和路坑”，再省作今名。[1]

1934年，此地属官田联保，隶第二区（永福），其后归官田乡。1949年初属官田乡。1950年至1952年，此地为官田区（第四区）的一个乡，之后另设和坑乡。1956年并归永福区（第三区）；1958年改称和坑大队，隶官田公社；1984年政社分开后，村名改为官田乡和坑村。[2]

1930年，此地曾建立苏维埃政府、农会和赤卫队，是革命老区村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

2010年漳平地貌所载，和坑村海拔为417.8米。[3]

经济[edit]

村民以种植茶叶、竹子等经济作物为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年6月，本村入选2023年漳平市「一村一品」专业村名单（红心柚）。2024年1月，村庄获评2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）。[1]
