黄坪村处于乡境东北，离乡政府12公里，村中有菁坑、岭顶、仑头、盂内、圳头坑五个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：传说早先是马姓人在菁坑、马公岐一带开垦，后来马姓人渐少，陈姓人迁入。因这里地势起伏不平，土色发黄，起名“黄土坪”，省称“黄坪”。[2]

1934年此地归官田联保，称菁坑保，随后与别处合并，编入菁梧保，隶属官田乡。1949年初此地仍属官田乡，之后随区划调整。1950年至1952年，此地属官田区（第四区），之后另设黄坪乡。1956年并入永福区（第三区），1957年撤区并乡。1958年，本地成为官田公社的黄坪大队；1984年体制改革后，改称官田乡黄坪村。[3]

2010年漳平地貌所载，黄坪村海拔为715米。[4]

经济[edit]

村民经济收入以毛竹、花卉、茶叶和外出经商务工为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，省爱卫办确认本村为2021年福建省卫生村。2023年1月，本村获评2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）。[1]
