罗坑村地处赤水镇南部，离镇政府有11公里路程，系革命基点村。村民居住分散，村头至村尾长达8公里，全村设3个生产小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

「罗坑」之名，「罗」取罗网之意，「坑」指低洼的地方，村地在坑中，故以此命名。[1]

1934年，村地属宁洋县第三区罗溪联保，1949年后归宁洋县第三区管辖。1956年宁洋县撤销，村地划入漳平县，列为双洋区安坑乡的一部分。1958年隶东风公社，1961年赤水公社设罗坑大队，1971年再次设立罗坑大队。1984年改为赤水乡罗坑村，1995年赤水撤乡建镇，村仍隶属之。[1][2]

经济[edit]

全村总面积1.8万亩，其中毛竹林5000余亩。竹山开发经营是村民的主要收入来源。2022年，村庄先后被认定为漳平市「一村一品」专业村和龙岩市市级「一村一品」专业村，产业均为笋竹。[1]
