东洋村位于双洋溪东岸，村名因地处东岸、地势宽阔而得。员当溪与石坑溪在村边流过；村庄2012年进入首批中国传统村落，2014年被认定为第六批中国历史文化名村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年时此地是中南城联保的东洋保，隶宁洋县。[1] 1949年以后，它成为宁洋县城厢镇下的东洋村。[1]

1956年宁洋县撤销，东洋村改隶漳平县双洋区。[1] 其后机构几经变动：1957年归双洋督导片，1958年列入东风公社双洋大队，1961年改称东洋大队并隶双洋公社，1984年复称村，1989年双洋乡改镇后称双洋镇东洋村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄位于群山环抱的山间盆地，员当溪与石坑溪在村边萦绕，村前为开阔的农田，背后有山脉依托，村落布局依山傍水。[2]

文化[edit]

东洋村于2012年进入首批中国传统村落名录，2014年被认定为第六批国家级历史文化名村；2019年，村又进入福建省重点改善提升对象，属历史文化名村与传统村落之列。[1][2][3]

2021年11月，村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2025年3月，村获「第七届全国文明村镇」称号；2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
