洋贝村属连城县宣和镇，村名的来历与一个杨姓的旧传说有关[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据说最早住进来的人姓杨，后来杨姓不再见，巫姓迁入。因“洋”和“杨”读音相近，起初叫洋背，后来才改作洋贝。[1]
此地先属黄文保；1949年初改归长汀县十五区黄文乡，1956年方划入连城，村名定为洋贝村，归朋口区宣和乡。1958年划入黄文乡，隶宣和公社；1961年改隶朋口公社；1962年宣和公社重设，当年冬天又分出一个洋贝大队。1984年建乡镇制后设洋贝村，归宣和乡；2021年撤乡设镇后改归宣和镇。[1]
2021年11月，福建省爱卫办评定洋贝村为省级卫生村；2023年1月，该村获评2022年度龙岩市平安村居。[1]
