福兴村位于武平县下坝乡西南部，与中山镇相邻。省道205线途经村子约8公里，从武平县城经中山镇进入下坝乡，这里是遇到的第一个行政村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：解放初成立高级社时，村里的干部群众商议，认为有赖共产党的福泽，村子将兴旺发达，于是定名为福兴。[1]

公社化后的1958年，此地成为福兴大队；1984年，村委会正式设立，隶属下坝乡，村名沿用至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内的石黄峰水库位于石黄峰自然村一带，上游与中山镇的卦坑村相连，是武平较大的电站水库之一。库区周边的阔叶林面积广，有发展生态旅游的条件。[2]

经济[edit]

农户的生计多依靠仙草、灵芝和水稻的种植。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年，福兴村（灵芝）入选福建省「一村一品」示范村，时间为当年12月。2021年10月，龙岩市农业农村局将福兴村认定为龙岩市2021年市级「一村一品」专业村（灵芝）。[1]

2021年1月，村里被命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
