万安镇是福建省龙岩市武平县下辖的镇，位于县城北郊，镇政府驻下镇村，距县城约3.5公里，是一个城郊型乡镇。全镇辖五里、下镇、上镇、贤溪、捷文、小密6个行政村，2014年由乡改镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

元末，县尹魏侃夫卸任后率乡民在此筑城，即万安城，又称土堡。地名由此从刘坊镇改为万安镇，取长治久安之意。[1][4]

明洪武十四年（1381年）已称万安镇，隶属顺平里。民国初设万安区，后改为万安乡，境内辖6个保，其中小密一保归昭信乡管辖。[3]

1942年改属城厢镇；1961年成立万安公社，1984年由公社改为乡。2014年11月13日起改设为镇，全镇共64个村民小组，分属六个村委会。[2][3][5]

近年，万安镇获得的主要荣誉如下。[1]

  • 2014年9月，本镇获环境保护部授予「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]
  • 2020年12月，本镇被福建省爱卫办评为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]
  • 2021年12月，本镇入选「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」。[1]
  • 2023年1月，本镇获评2022年度龙岩市「平安乡镇（街道）」。[1]
  • 2023年12月，本镇获授2023年度「福建省森林乡镇」称号。[1]
  • 2024年1月，龙岩市把2023年度「平安乡镇（街道）」认定给本镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

万安镇位于武平县中南部、县城北郊，东邻城厢镇，南与平川街道相接，西与东留镇相连，北与永平镇接壤，平均海拔310米。国道357线（原省道309线）穿过全镇。[2]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网，2019年末全镇3672户，12380人；居民以汉族为主。[2]

文化[edit]

在镇内流传的魏侃夫信俗，别称“剥皮公爹信俗”，现为福建省省级非物质文化遗产。信众每年农历正月廿六举行祭祀，纪念魏侃夫。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

元代所筑的万安城（土堡）至今尚存部分城墙。[1]

镇内的石径岭与1927年南昌起义军余部的转移有关，详见五里村条。[6]

著名人物[edit]

魏侃夫，名锦舒，元末任武平县县尹，卸任后定居万安，主持构筑土堡以防御盗匪。后遭人诬告致死，朝廷平反后追授光禄大夫。[4]
