上东村是武平县城厢镇下辖的行政村，地处县城西南，与县城相距约4公里，海拔262米，素有“南大门”之称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在小溪的上游，故村以“上东”为名。民国时期隶属溪东保。1984年自原大队析出，单独设立村委会，归城厢镇管辖，村名延续至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村辖溪子背、兰塘、赖屋垇三个自然村，划分为十个村民小组。古武高速与武平大道的出口设在赖屋垇，武平大道与省道205线在村中交汇。[2]

经济[edit]

村里以仙草和林果种植为主导，木材与食用菌也是土特产。赖屋垇生产的陶器历史悠久。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予上东村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2024年1月，本村列入2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]
