梅坑村位于十方镇西南部，距镇政府所在地约8公里，村内林地面积较大，村民以种植和养殖为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，此地姓氏较多、住户分散，好比杨梅树上的洋梅，因而称梅坑。[1]

民国时此地归叶坑二保管辖。新中国成立后，1952年称梅坑乡，1958年分出梅坑大队，1984年村委会建立，归十方镇领导。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月、2023年1月和2021年1月，梅坑村分别入选2023年度、2022年度和2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」名单。[1]
