高屋村位于茶地镇南部，属山区村，平均海拔约400米，东面与太拔乡接壤，南面临蓝溪镇。黄潭河的一条支流始于本村。[1][3]

得名[edit]

开基时，此处群山环绕、地势偏高、地形险峻，故称关山；居民多为高姓，于是叫作高关山，后简称高屋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期属茶境乡。1956年划入茶地乡并设高级社；1958年公社化后属红旗公社的一个大队；1961年属庐丰工委茶地公社；1965年属茶地公社；1980年设高屋大队，1984年成立高屋村民委员会，隶茶地乡；2015年起隶茶地镇。[2]

村辖高屋1个自然村、6个村民小组。[2]

2021年11月获评福建省卫生村。[1]
