罗坑村是上杭县太拔镇西部的行政村，距镇政府约2千米，与茶地镇的官山、黄笔、茶地等村交界。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是四面环山、村庄居中，形似箩筐，而调和溪在村边流过。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代为胜运里辖地，民国时称罗坑保。解放初，罗坑与黄岩的杨屋、黄屋合为一体，成立农会分会；1952年划入太拔乡，1956年并入红星高级社。[2]

1958年公社化后设罗坑大队，1961年属太拔工委太拔公社。村中黄岩的两个自然村为革命基点村。1984年改称太拔乡罗坑村民委员会，2014年改称太拔镇罗坑村民委员会。村内辖丘屋、罗坑、王屋、杨屋四个自然村，村委会驻罗坑自然村。[2][3]

经济[edit]

村中食用菌生产始于1987年，至今是村里的重要产业，产品多销往广东、厦门等地。村民也种植烤烟，作为增收的途径。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，罗坑村被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月授予罗坑村「2022年福建省卫生村」称号；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
