古楼村是湖洋镇内规模最大的行政村，位于上杭县城西部，距县城约10公里，离国道205线约2公里。村名的来历是：相传村中一位富户建起一幢古式楼房，样式华美，村因此得名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时设古楼保。解放初仍称古楼村，隶属信和区的古楼乡；1956年组建高级社，同年8月划入附城区的一个乡。1958年公社化后称湖洋公社古楼大队。[2][4]

1961年一度划归另一公社，1965年又划回湖洋公社。1968年成立革领组，1980年设管委会大队，1984年改为湖洋乡古楼村民委员会，2013年改属湖洋镇。[2][4]

全村土地面积4.6平方千米，耕地1987亩，山林7858亩；872户、2743人，党员82人；五保11户，低保21户、71人，孤儿2人（统计年份未注明）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，古楼村获「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予古楼村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
