丰源村是白砂镇下辖的行政村，村名取自旧时丰熟坪与上甲源两处地名。据博雅地名网，本村是九曲溪的源头村。全村辖丰熟坪、上甲源、下甲3个自然村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

1974年，丰熟坪、上甲源、下甲三处合编为一个生产大队，村名由丰熟坪的「丰」字与上甲源的「源」字合成。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地属锦华保，解放后设农会小组，1951年划入田源乡，1956年撤区并乡后并入田背乡。[2]

1974年合为丰源大队，隶属白砂公社革委会，设革领组；1980年改设管委会。1984年改为白砂乡丰源村民委员会，1993年改为白砂镇丰源村民委员会。2007年村委会迁至下甲自然村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，丰源村列入2021年福建省卫生村名单。[1]
