溪口村在四都镇西北部，与江西省瑞金市相接。村名的来历，据博雅地名网，是村民多聚居在一条小河的河口边，故名溪口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

历史上这里是红军和游击队主要的聚集地之一，村里曾办有兵工厂、制衣厂和制药厂。[1]

1962年撤并溪口村，成立荣溪大队；1980年改为溪口大队，1984年改为村民委员会。[1]

博雅地名网称，明末清初收复台湾的将领刘国轩是溪口村人。[1]

2023年1月，溪口村被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
