横田村位于濯田集镇西南约9公里处，村境辖有多个自然村，南面与武平县石子岭相接。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中一条山岗横亘，两侧的田地便以「横田岗」称之，村名由此而来。村部所在的自然村就叫横田岗。[1]
自然环境[edit]
村内有温泉，也有白水寨瀑布。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初，横田属邻近的一个村；1950年6月设乡，横田各自然村均属其辖。1959年3月，横田划入濯田管理区。1960年春，横田与邻村合为一个大队，1961年3月又分出，成立横田大队。1984年撤社建乡后，横田大队改为横田村。[2]
