罗坑村位于新桥镇西南部，全村共有5个自然村。[2]

地名由来[edit]

最早在此开基的是罗姓人家，村因此称罗坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初此地归新桥区管辖，1958年公社化时划入新桥公社并设大队。1961年随新桥工委改属任屋公社，1965年工委撤销后仍归新桥公社。1984年改设罗坑村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

人口与土地[edit]

共有222户、989名居民。土地16314亩，山林13114亩，空闲地2722亩，耕地478亩。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
