高坑村位于镇域东南部，距县城约3.5公里，是一个近郊的山区村。[1][2]

村名取自地势较高、位于山坑之中的地貌。村域内包括高坑、罗地、曾坑三个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公社化时村中设高坑大队。之后的村民委员会自1984年起设立，名为高坑村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

经福建省农业农村厅认定，高坑村于2022年10月成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年1月，高坑村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
