汤湖村位于合溪乡西部，处在杭永两县交界处，交通较为便利。[1]

村中原有一眼天然温泉，水温偏高，村名便由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，本村归第八区管辖。区内的汤湖、合调、袍山、调吴四个乡，合称上四乡。1958年，合溪英雄人民公社建立；1961年，英雄公社被拆分出合溪、菜地、汤湖三个公社，统一由合溪工委领导；1965年合溪与菜地合并，1971年汤湖并入，成为合溪公社。1984年建乡，此地改称合溪乡汤湖村民委员会。[1]

1926年10月，永定县第一个团支部在汤湖成立，据博雅地名网载，其选举赖际发为书记。[2]

据博雅地名网，永定师范学校于1925年秋迁至金星自然村长教里，1928年遭毁。[2]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫部门将本村评定为卫生村，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年1月，村子获命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

2026年2月，永定区人民政府复文同意汤湖与马子凹两村并为一村，新村仍称汤湖，两村原有的行政区域都归入汤湖。[3]

地理环境[edit]

村内温泉地热资源较丰富，汤湖温泉具有开发价值。[2]

经济[edit]

村里办起了千亩果林场，主产芦柑、密柚和脐橙，兼有烤烟与水稻。2011年，村民人均纯收入为4530元。[2]

2020年12月，村子在2019年度福建省「一村一品」示范村名单中有名，主打产品为红柚。[1]

2021年10月，龙岩市农业农村部门把汤湖村列为2021年市级「一村一品」专业村，其产业为红柚。[1]
