下径村位于洪山镇半径片区，是通往广东省梅县区松源镇的要道。[1]

村名的由来与地势有关：在半径的三个行政村中，此村海拔最低，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地属峰市特种区下径保；解放后划为永定第九区半径乡。1958年公社化后设下径大队，1984年改称洪山乡下径村民委员会。[1]

2021年6月，村民委员会改隶洪山镇，称洪山镇下径村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，省爱卫办确定下径村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
