洪山镇在永定区西部，全镇辖9个行政村，政府驻地设在田梓村。镇域面积122.08平方千米，东面隔龙湖与仙师镇相望，南与峰市镇接壤，西面紧挨广东梅县区的松源镇，北面与上杭县的下都镇接壤。[1][7]

镇内有王寿山国家森林公园和龙湖两处景区。[1][5]

历史沿革[edit]

据地名由来，旧时上山一带建有一座宫，名为洪山寺，地名因此而来。[2]

此地原属上杭县，后划为峰市特种区；1940年改属永定，称洪山乡，直属县。[3]

1958年并入幸福人民公社；1961年峰市公社分出时，此地设洪山乡人民公社，1984年又恢复洪山乡之名。[3]

2000年至2001年间，因棉花滩水库移民安置，村委会多次撤并：2000年4月撤销四个村委会，同年11月设立樟罗村委会，2001年5月增设抚硕村委会。[3]

2021年5月，福建省人民政府批复同意撤销洪山乡、设立洪山镇，行政区域与政府驻地保持不变（闽政文〔2021〕178号）。[3]

镇内有革命烈士32人。[1]

2024年，洪山镇获评省级卫生乡镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

王寿山属花岗岩地貌，呈南北走向，主峰为棋盘石，海拔1148米；山脚一带与广东省梅县区的桃尧、松源两镇相接。[6]

龙湖由棉花滩水电站蓄水形成，湖边与王寿山相依。[4]

镇内设有永定红石材循环经济产业园，为永定三大园区之一，洪山是“永定红”花岗岩的主要产地。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

王寿山国家森林公园的面积为1552.3公顷，其中王寿山主景区在洪山辖区，东华山景区在抚市镇辖区。[5]

王寿山上有祥光寺，山间植被以南亚热带常绿阔叶林为主。[5]

龙湖被列为「国家水利风景区」，并获评「国家3A级旅游风景区」。[1]

尚径村的廖成美将军祖居（尚径承荫楼）始建于清宣统二年（1910年），为方形土木结构楼房，坐东朝西，是区级文物保护单位。[1][8]

尚径村另有大夫第。[1]
