宝溪村位于堂堡镇西南部，东与湖雷镇溪口村接壤，南与湖雷镇潘坑村相邻，距永定县城18公里。[1][2]
村名来历：村原名倒水坑，因夏季雨季溪水常有倒涌回流的情形而得名。公社化后，当地发现铁矿石，又有一条溪水流过，遂改称宝溪。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年前属藩坑保，1949年初属堂堡村，后设宝溪农会。1961年为堂堡公社宝溪大队，1958年则属钢铁公社宝溪管理区；1952年时称堂堡乡宝溪村。[1]
2020年1月起，村归堂堡镇宝溪村民委员会管辖；此前自1984年起，它是堂堡乡宝溪村民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
村内保留古老土楼民居十余座，楼与楼之间有通道相连，便于避难和防御。[2]
经济[edit]
村里种植烤烟和稻谷。[2]
