蛟塘村是堂堡镇的行政村，位于堂堡与坎市的交界处，村落规模较小。[1]

村名来历：村址地形如同盘伏的蛟龙，处在四面环山的山窝里，且村中有一口山塘，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年，蛟塘村民委员会一度改称蛟塘里村民委员会，同年又改回原名。2020年1月起，它归堂堡镇管辖；1984年前后至此前，它一直属堂堡乡。[1][2]

1949年前此地属堂溪乡。1949年后先设农会，1952年属堂堡十二区并设蛟塘乡，1956年改为堂堡乡蛟塘村。1958年设管理区，1961年为堂堡公社蛟塘大队。[1]

2026年6月，村被确认为龙岩市永定区2023年区级「一村一品」专业村。[1]
