石鼓村位于仙师镇西南部，靠近棉花滩，距仙师集镇约5千米，距永定城约20千米。[1]全村分上村、下村两个自然村，有7个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子地形圆圆的，形如鼓面；石头相碰时会发出鼓一样的声响，方言因此称之为石鼓。[1]

民国时期，此地为大院乡石鼓保。1949年后改属金砂八区的仙师乡，公社化后成为仙师公社石鼓大队。1960年一度划归峰市公社，1961年又回到仙师公社，1984年改称仙师乡石鼓村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村总面积8平方公里，林地6500亩，耕地600亩，果园3250亩。这里气候宜人，适合种植水果和各种经济作物。[1][2]

经济[edit]

农民收入以种水果、「六月红」早熟芋和养殖为主。村中四季有水果，可称得上水果之村。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，本村获福建省爱卫办命名，称号为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2024年1月，村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。2024年6月，龙岩市永定区确认石鼓村为2024年区级「一村一品」专业村。[1]
