桃坑村位于城郊镇西南部，与广东接壤，距县城约7公里，是革命基点村。[1]

村子位于永定河两岸，因村中多种桃树而取名桃坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，桃坑属九乡的龙溪保；1949年后归一区古镇村，设桃坑农会。1961年4月起，它成为古镇公社的桃坑大队，1966年至1976年间一度叫光明大队，1969年又恢复桃坑之名。1968年8月，它转入城关公社；1984年初进入城郊公社，同年四月改隶城郊乡，名为桃坑村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，村子获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。2023年12月，村子获得「2023年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1][2]

2024年1月，村子被列入「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」名单。2024年11月，桃坑村被认定为「2024年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产业类别为红色旅游。[1][2]

2025年3月，桃坑村被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」；2026年6月，又被确认为「龙岩市永定区2023年区级一村一品专业村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林地11468亩、耕地548亩，全村总面积12016亩，有7个村民小组。[1]

村中道路已全部硬化，村民住在永定河下游的两岸一带。[1]

经济[edit]

主要产业为六月红早熟芋、蜜柚和蜂蜜。[1]
