忠信村位于峰市镇，下辖中心坪、黎泉坑与罗家营三处自然村，村内的八角宫是当地古迹。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传祖宗开居时，此处地势平坦、多竹，取名笙竹寨。后来因一条山坑的源头至汀江恰为中点，改称忠信。[1]

解放前此地归峰市特种区；新中国成立后，它划入第九区的忠寨乡，1958年改隶下水乡。公社时期改称忠寨大队，至1984年6月又属峰市乡，1989年3月分村，定名忠信村民委员会。[1]

后来，棉花滩库区的移民安置在木梓坑。[1]

罗家营从前叫老家营，据传是峰市开发得最早的地方；如今这里仍能见到残存的墙基与屋址。[1]

2024年1月，忠信村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

“二坝一坪”之中，中心坪便是那一坪；村里有八角宫，从前也办过汉光书院，据传左相黎宏和名士邱振方曾在此授课。[1]
