岭东村位于培丰镇东南部，与适中镇为邻，村中设11个村民小组。[1]

村名由来：村子座落在村内一道山岭顶坪的偏东处，故名岭东。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年代，这里归龙潭乡管辖。1961年并入坎市工委的辖区，设岭东大队管理区。[1]

1969年公社设立革命委员会，村内的岭东改为革领小组；1972年改设管理委员会。1984年隶属坎市镇，村委会定名岭东村委会；1993年培丰设镇后由培丰镇辖。村内有一处革命基点村。[1]

经济[edit]

村中矿产以煤炭、石灰石为主；村民多以种植烤烟、养殖和种植毛竹为生。[1]
