增坑村位于高陂镇，村名经过几次更改，原称占溪，后改为沾溪、沾坑，现名增坑[1]。
地名由来[edit]
明嘉靖年间此地属龙岩县，后划归永定。村子最初取名占溪，众姓认为该名不妥，依多坑水的意思，把“占”字加上水旁，改为沾溪；因居民建在溪坑沿岸，又称沾坑，后改为增坑[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
明清时此地为太平里的沾溪村，民国时属高陂区的智阉乡。1996年3月设立增坑村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
