溪口村位于湖雷镇北面，三堡溪穿村而过，注入永定河。村名因所在地为溪水入河之口而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年划入十二区，属莲塘乡管辖；1958年撤区并乡后归湖雷乡，同年下半年改隶湖雷公社。1984年建乡后设溪口村民委员会。[2]

交通[edit]

1920年代修建的龙峰公路穿村而过；水运年代，下溪店是船只停靠的码头。[2]

文化[edit]

溪口村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由省爱卫办确定。[1]
