上湖村位于湖雷镇东部，上湖溪与抚石线穿村而过，离镇区约三千米，全村有15个自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村址靠近永定河在湖雷境内的上段，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设为大队，1984年建乡后改为上湖村民委员会。[2][3]

经济[edit]

村民一向务农，农闲时兼做小生意，从外地贩运耕牛、茶叶到市场交易。改革开放后，村民外出办企业、经商。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年6月，上湖村列入福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村名单。上湖村于2021年11月获评「2021年福建省卫生村」，由省爱卫办确定。[2]
