罗陂村位于湖雷镇北部，由罗陂、渡头、车前岗三个自然村组成，永定河自村前流过。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中有姓罗的居民在拦河坝（方言称陂头）附近居住，故名罗陂。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
建县后村属丰田里下丰区，民国时期改隶堂溪乡，1949年前夕并入湖雷。[1]
1929年至1931年间，永定县苏维埃政府设在罗陂，县苏机关报《红报》社和县苏后方医院均设于村中的楼宇。车前岗为革命基点村，红军与游击队常在此往来。[1]
经济[edit]
清末民初，永定条丝烟兴起，村中一度有烟棚数十家，烟丝远销外地。抗战爆发后烟业衰落，村民转为耕种并兼做小贩。[1]
上世纪20年代修建的龙峰公路穿村而过，据博雅地名网所载，它是全县首条公路。[1]
