初溪村是福建省龙岩市永定区下洋镇的行政村，位于金丰溪一条支流的上游，距下洋镇约15公里，与漳州市平和县芦溪镇交界。[1]
村名的由来：开村的先人曾追逐三只鹿，鹿在一处祠堂附近不见了，地名便以「三鹿」之「麤」为本，后简写为同音字「初」，称为初溪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1956年，此地隶属上川乡。1957至1958年间设初溪管理区，1958年公社化后成为初溪大队，1984年起为初溪村民委员会。[1]
村子先后获得数项称号：2014年11月，列入「第三批中国传统村落」名录；2019年1月，入选「第七批中国历史文化名村」；2021年11月，获评「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年12月，被命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
集庆楼位于村北面的半山腰，建于明永乐年间，占地2826平方米，楼内有72部楼梯，每户一梯。2005年5月，福建省人民政府公布其为福建省文物保护单位。[4]
初溪土楼群于1999年2月被确定为县级文物保护单位；2008年，福建土楼被列入世界文化遗产，初溪土楼群为其中之一；2009年，群内被列为福建省第七批省级文物保护单位。[3]
