清溪村在坎市镇的西南方，离龙岩市高坎新城大约7公里，全村辖7个自然村。[1][2]

村子旧称清坑。村名的由来，据博雅地名网说与此地古时出过读书人、官声清正，以及村子地处永定河畔有关。村中历史上有「四代五翰林七进士」之说。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地归白土乡管辖。1949年至1952年间，村里设了清溪农会；1952年起至1958年9月，这里改设为白土乡，乡中设农会。[1]

1958年10月建立人民公社，清溪改设大队生产营；1959年至1961年另设清溪大队管理区，1969年转为大队革命领导小组，1972年起归大队管委会，1984年建清溪村民委员会至今。[1]

2021年11月，清溪村获福建省卫生村的称号，由省爱卫办认定；2022年10月，它入选省级乡村治理示范名单（第二批）；2022年12月，被确定为2022年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（乡村旅游）；2025年11月，又入选省级乡村振兴示范村名单，为福建省的第二批。[1]
