龙山村是岩山镇南部的行政村，距镇政府驻地芹元村约3.8公里，北面与芹元村相接，西面与丹畲村相邻。[1]

村名的来历：村中原有一座龙宫庙，村名最初称为龙宫山，其后省称龙山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地属龙山保，解放初为芹山乡下属的龙山村。1984年成立村委会，隶属岩山乡。[1]

2023年1月，村子被命名为2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为2023年度同名称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄地处群山之中，四周峰峦起伏，境内有石灰岩、煤炭等矿藏。[1]
