好坑村位于万安镇境内，原名“可坑”。因当地方言里“可”与“好”同音，改称“好坑”，取美好之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代归九龙乡万安里管辖，清代划入溪口社，民国初隶属万安社，其后又归溪口镇。解放初曾与邻村合并为一个村，1980年单独设立好坑大队。[1]

1984年起归万安乡，设为村委会；1995年划归万安镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄经福建省爱卫办命名，获“2021年福建省卫生村”称号。[1]
