下营村位于雁石镇西南部，村名的来历与最早在此开基的陈姓人有关。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1955年，此地组成厦老乡的下营高级社；1958年改称下营大队；1987年设立下营村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，下营村名列「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又名列「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
