三坑村是福建省龙岩市新罗区适中镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的北部，离镇政府约17公里；319国道从村中穿过，漳龙高速与龙厦铁路经合溪自然村。村名因村境内有三条溪坑贯穿而得。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初隶属莒溪乡，1957年后归象霞乡；1958年并入莒溪大队；1961年一度单设三坑大队，1965年又合并回去。[1]

1984年归莒溪村委会，1989年4月才另设三坑村委会。[1]

革命历史[edit]

三坑村是革命基点村。1929年建立农民协会和苏维埃政府，石门炉曾设闽西南军政委员会，当年邓子恢、张鼎丞、伍洪祥与魏金水等人在此带领闽西群众进行革命斗争。[2]

1952年，党和政府拨专款帮助革命基点村重建家园，石门炉兴建了三层楼房和学校。[2]

产业[edit]

村中除传统农业外，较多的是与铁矿有关的工副业。20世纪20年代已开始建炉炼铁，以铸锅为主，产品供不应求。新中国成立后，铁矿开采规模扩大，矿石供给马坑钢铁厂。[2]

改革开放后，合溪、三坑、陂坑等地开发了三座铁矿，并有铸锅厂、采石场、石粉厂等民办企业。[2]

教育与卫生[edit]

村中先后建成大洋、石门炉、三坑、合溪四所小学，并在村部所在地建设完小校舍。村内设有卫生所，参加合作医疗的村民占多数。[2]

荣誉[edit]

省爱卫办在2021年11月公布三坑村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。本村在龙岩市2023年度「平安村居（社区）」名单之内，名单公布于2024年1月。[1]
