后田村是东肖街道南部的行政村，据博雅地名网所载，是闽西人民革命的发源地之一。[1][2]村名的来历是：早先此地都是田地，后人来此耕种并定居，便以驻地的村名为村名。[1]1928年3月4日，中共龙岩临时县委领导本村农民举行武装暴动，在陈氏宗祠前焚烧田契债约，即后田暴动。据百度百科，这次暴动打响了福建农民武装斗争的第一枪，此后村里成立了闽西第一支红色游击队。[3][4]2022年10月，后田村被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年6月，列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2026年1月，被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地归白土镇。解放初分属东红区、东肖区和附城区。1957年村子随区乡合并，归入东肖乡；次年，东肖公社在此设后田大队。1960年曾由城郊公社的东肖管理区代管，1961年回归东肖公社。1984年，组织改为东肖镇后田村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

后田暴动遗址即原陈氏宗祠，建于清末，为单厅二厢房的平房土木建筑，占地450平方米。1961年被列为首批省级文物保护单位。[3]
