历史沿革[edit]
社区因地处虎岭山南麓而得名。[1]
1982年3月，撤销城西居委会后另设虎岭居委会；2002年1月改称虎岭社区居民委员会。[1]
2022年2月18日，社区入选第五批国家级充分就业社区。[2]
2024年1月，社区被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
