梅林社区位于福建省龙岩市新罗区，由中城街道管辖，属主城区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

20世纪60年代初，这里组织绿化荒山，种下了成片的梅树，后来建起梅林新村，社区因此得名。[1]

居民委员会成立于1991年，2002年1月改称梅林社区居民委员会。[1]

2021年1月，社区被命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，又被命名为2022年度同一称号。[1]
