玉山镇是福建省南平市建瓯市下辖的镇，坐落于建瓯市的东南方。它北面与顺阳乡接壤，南面连着迪口镇；东侧与屏南、古田两县为界，西侧与小桥镇毗邻。全镇境域面积约为324.13平方千米，下辖12个行政村和1个居委会。[1][2][4]

玉山镇处在鹫峰山脉西坡，山多雾重，千米以上山峰有16座，境内素有“九山半水半分田”之称。镇域内的洋后水库是一座中型水库，建于1984年至1987年间。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，镇名的来历是这样的：传说古时一名官员不满朝政腐败，携长子黄玉山及全家迁来此地安家，后人便以长子的名字为地名。[1]

1949年，这里属小桥二区，称玉山乡。1958年后的数年间，这里先后称玉山公社、群英公社，并一度并入小桥公社。1984年设为乡，1992年改设玉山镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

境内山峦连绵，峰峦耸立。石塔山海拔1611米，是建瓯四大天柱之一。玉山地处鹫峰山脉西坡，山多雾重，天气多变，全镇年均气温18℃，降水年均约1600毫米，日照每年约1800小时。[1][2]

革命历史[edit]

闽东北特委军分区的饶守坤、王助、左丰美等人，于1936年春起在玉山一带活动；此后三年，他们在与屏南交界的九仙山上打游击。[2]

岭后、峡头、富地、白石、榧村、上后村、下后村、上半山、下半山等自然村，在过去都是红军的驻地。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

榧村大圣庙大殿在榧村，始建于元代元统年间（1333年至1335年）。建筑面积110平方米的大殿朝西，殿内为三开间，纵向五柱，柱身呈梭形，柱础作覆盆式。[2]

洋后水库位于洋后村，属小桥溪上游，1984年动工，1987年竣工，总库容4685万立方米。周边以水库人工湖和峡谷景观为主体，已辟为水利风景区。[1][3]

腾云桥在敷锡村，建于清代，属县级文物保护单位之列。[2]

练子兴墓位于岭口村的冢林山，也是县级文物保护单位。[2]

近年荣誉[edit]

玉山镇在2021年度南平市评选中获「平安农机」示范乡镇称号，授予时间为2021年12月。[1]
