东溪村是建瓯市通济街道下辖的行政村，位于建瓯东南部，距城区约3公里。村名原作溪东，因居于一条溪的东侧而得名，后改称东溪。[1][3]

沿革[edit]

1952年，此地属小桥二区东溪乡。1958年归城工委管理，同年8月改属曙光公社，1961年又改称城关公社下的东溪大队。1984年改属芝城镇，定名东溪村；1996年自芝城镇划出，并入通济街道。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村域总面积31552亩。村下辖磨下、东溪碓、梨山、香碓坪、石壁、上磨、木西林共7个自然村，设9个村民小组。浦南高速与京台高速、303省道以及环城路都从村境穿过。[1][2]
