城西村位于武夷山市城区西北部，属城乡结合区。[1] 村名取其位于城区西面之意。[1]

村辖区内有红岭、石雄、五里桥、崇秀新村四个自然村。村中适于种植蔬菜，成为武夷山市区的蔬菜生产基地，承担市区的蔬菜供应。[2]

沿革[edit]

城西村的前身为1958年设立的城西大队，最初隶属曙光公社。1962年后归城关公社，1980年划入城关镇，1981年改属崇城镇。1984年大队改称村民委员会，1995年改属崇安镇，2002年改属崇安街道。[1]
