西溪村位于政和县镇前镇，地处闽东北结合部，与周宁县泗桥乡和杨源乡相邻。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村庄始建于一条溪流的西侧，因而称西溪。[1]

民国时期设西溪保，归凤池乡管辖；1969年成为西溪大队，隶属镇前公社；1984年设为行政村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

西溪村的水蜜桃于2024年11月获「2024年度福建省一村一品专业村」称号。[1]
