向前村是福建省南平市政和县铁山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，离镇政府约8公里，离入闽通道约3公里。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

村名取奋发向上的寓意。1970年设向前大队，隶属铁山公社；1984年改设向前行政村，成立村民委员会。[1]

村民小组与历史[edit]

村下辖向前、廖元、后山屯、西坑岭四个村民小组。村属革命老区，2002年由福建省列为省定贫困村。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
